To answer the questions, the voice over work is for (I think) teaching English via the Internet, kind of like the tapes that you used to be able to buy. My part is really boring, I sit there saying "Monday", "Wednesday", "First floor", "Second Floor", etc. You get the idea. I can do it in the evenings, after I finish work for the day, and my first session is on Wednesday.
Today was the Auckland city parade I took way too many pictures which I promise not to show you. (I got a little carried away) and what is it with parades? There are always, always, pipe bands. I counted at least 3 of them! In fact I rushed my housemate Becky out of the apartment to see the parade, as I could hear a band, and therefore assumed that the parade had started... it hadn't they were just practising. Once we determined what time the parade was actually going to start we decided that we had enough time to go home, make lunch and still get back to the start in plenty of time to see it all. Becky got into the spirit of it all by getting her face painted!
Speaking of Becky - the girl is officially insane! on Thursday the 2 of us signed up for a free day trip around Auckland with Kiwi Experience The trip was a lot of fun, and started off with the opportunity to climb the Auckland harbour bridge Most of you probably know (and if you don't you're learning something new about me) I have a small problem with heights, as in I don't like them! however I successfully managed to climb the harbour bridge, but I wasn't going to be as dumb as Becky who decided that she wanted to jump head first off the bridge! (see what I mean about dumb?) I've not got any pictures of her jumping, but she did have the prefect pose, arms spread wide, and her feet tied together as she jumped headfirst off the edge... No way in hell that I'm going to be doing that!
After that we went on to visit Devonport (I felt like home - it's where the naval base is -sounds more and more like Plymouth doesn't it?) where we had fish and chips on the sea front (well -it was in the park in front of the library) and then went for a wander along the beach and then up to see the old disused Devonport fort. it was a really nice day. As of Monday life will assume some sort of routine (ish) as I start work.
Anyway that's all for now. I'll do pictures soon... Promise!
Love Sueby

Santa in the sunshine is not nice. It has been so cold here we have needed two fires lite downstairs. Aren't you glad I taught you to talk proper like. saw Wendy S. at Tesco and your site is spreading. I supposed for little people height can be a problem. How tall is Becky? Dancing tonight, everyone missing you still. Have you found a group there. Dad was pleased to hear you have found one of the few, or only church to have 8 bells. Good girl. Good luck with work today hope it was ok, and people were nice to you. Lots of love,
What a let down. I thought I would see all sorts of pictures f ROM the parade--not an ad!!!! So I finally found my way here and will have to find an easy way back. As you can tell I am using Andy's computer which does all sorts of things I don't want it to do. I fly tomorrow to London to hopefully meet up with your Mom & Dad. We shall see as flying these last 2 trips as been one delay after another. Am taking your Christmas gifts--or the ones I could find!!!! to England to be there when you return. Happy delated US Thanksgiving. Love aunt sue
Hi Sue
Been following your travels with great interest. Can't believe you've been gone so long. We all miss you loads at Harriers, we've been having trouble logging on to leave you a message, so I'm doing this on behalf of all of our little running pack and hoping that it works. Your pictures are great, but need to see more with you in!!! Climb up the bridge sounded fantastic, I wouldn't have jumped either if it's any consolation. We have the Harriers xmas party soon and the annual run to leigham to look at the xmas lights. Speak to you soon. Loads of love xxx Elaine, Kim, Penny, Mel, Carol, Hayley
