Reflexology, BBQ's and Relatives

In my defence for not having written in ages, I've worked over 40 hours in the last 5 days, and I've got another 3 days before I get any time off...

So, I've started work at Kathmandu. It's been a very long time since I worked in Yelverton Stores, and Boy! it's a lot harder then I remember it being! On the plus side, a friend who is currently staying in Wellington came to visit for a few days on Thursday. I've Begged Jay to stay as long as possible, as he is trained in reflexology, and my feet and I thank him! I'm sure that I'm walking miles each day, going around and around the shop floor looking for customers to harass, I mean assist, or walking around the shop restocking, or walking back and forth from the store to the stockroom and back again... I am definitely not cut out for a job like this in retail!

Last night I headed out to a BBQ, along with Becky, Jay and Nordic Ian, we headed out to the "wop-wops" (or butt-fuck nowhere) that is known as the north shore. If you live as close to the center of Auckland as we do, anywhere else in Auckland automatically becomes the wop-wops. We were visiting a lovely American girl called Juliette. Juliette came to NZ using the same organisation as I did, and just like the rest of us, is looking for work to fund her time here. She also came over to visit my flat the other day to bake cakes! in the end we cheated and used a packet mix, but it made a very nice orange flavour cake!

I've also made contact with one of the New Zealand branches of the family. And to be extra convenient, they live here in the Auckland area.

All in all, (other then very weary feet) things aren't too bad, now if only I could make a little more money, I might be able to go somewhere else to see some more of this country! however, at least all this walking will mean that I'm bound to lose weight!

Love ya loads.
