Hi All,
Well it's a long weekend here in NZ this weekend, so there's all sorts going on. Last night a group of us from the hostel headed out to a place called nugunuru (sp? - but anyone who can pronounce that gets a prize!) to see a band. The band was a bit poor, but the pool was good, and I managed to pot a ball, so I was exceedingly happy! I really should have spent more time playing pool with Grampaw in the basement. He would disown me based on how bad my pool playing is!
Tomorrow morning we'll be up early to watch England beat the springbok (I hope). then we will be heading south to Auckland to pick up our mail, and then head for the Coremandel peninsula.
I'm looking forward to hitting hot water beach... Dig a hole in the sand and it fills up with warm water... so I've been told... This better not be like the last thermal pockets that I went looking for!

Hi Sueby: I envy you all your adventures. Sounds like you are making the most of each one. We have had some gloriously warm weather this week, a precursor to what's to come I think. Ugh!! Winter is certainly not my favorite season. Erin the Terry and boys are coming for a visit today. Looking forward to seeing them again.
